I like to start with drawing on paper. I’m usually trying to find an idea that I connect with, or warm up my imagination for a solid idea that I want on canvas.  My goal is to get to a place where I’m not thinking something anymore, I’m just seeing it. Once I get here I just try to do as much as I can. I’ll try to write anything down that I didn’t start and come back to this list when I need inspiration. If there’s a concept that I know I want to bring life, I try to visualize defining moments; to create the feelings  of a concept, not what it actually means. It’s like how we understand words better in a sentence than how the dictionary says. I love art like that.
